#note actual rack - sims best, just ahead of AN?. nice decision
>Jackson: AABDHIT H4 BAITH +26 26
#note figured this was a reasonable sacrifice for his range, since this doesnt take an S and the TH combo can make some 7s not play.
>Karl_Higby: ?AINOUX 5H .XON +22 22
>Jackson: AABDDIU 4J BAUD +20 46
#note looks worth it over G6 BAUD for 2 more to block AXONE
>Karl_Higby: ?AEEGNV I8 AVENGEd +70 92
>Jackson: AADEITU 6J ADIEU +21 67
#note I liked this to put some pressure on the right side so that overlaps on the H column wouldn't wall me in. TAU/TAXON is also okay, and even DAUTIE is okay to balance the left side lanes with a bigger spot. ADIEU does sim best by 3 points, AT works well with the open lanes on the left.
>Karl_Higby: JMOO 11E JOMO. +28 120
>Jackson: AEEGKTU G6 TEAK +25 92
#note I liked this or KEDGE M2, but I wasnt 100% sure of KEDGE so it made the decision pretty clear. I do prefer KEDGE by a little bit overall but it's close. I did like blocking the 10F scoring spot, but opening theK at 2M is nice to start opening the top - the 7F setup spot was a positive thing about teak for me, because it might be a lifeline later. Sim prefers KEDGE by a half point

>Jackson: ACENORS O1 NARCOSE +95 198
>Karl_Higby: CLLMSVW 14B CWMS +34 248
#note actual rack - I would definitely hold onto the S here with CLEW, since the NARCOSES spot is so huge, and I am not guaranteed to have it/block it at this score
>Jackson: ?AEIIPZ 8K IZA.s +96 294
>Karl_Higby: LOQU 11K QUO.L +28 276
>Jackson: EGIIPSS 12L PI. +20 314
#note considered ISS(E)I for 32 which is not so bad cause this board is not so sick for the S, but I did like keeping the 7F setup like TET alive just in case, since I have the case Ss. I missed AGIO M8 here which is probably better, but I liked PIE to block the L column bceause I was expecting to eventually make an O13 setup, the blocks of which PIE obstructs.

#note I am not too worried about being outrun here, although FIDGE can be good for that just to clear out the G and keep both Ss. FROWS for 22 lower shis bingo % the most, but in any case he is not likely to bingo even though the pool is not so bad, he just has to hit the A column, C column, or 1 row. I liked taking out the 1 row to prevent disaster scenarios, but the score might be close enough to where outrunning i snever possible. I think it might be better to block the bottom here with FROWS, since 1 row bingoes will still give back a 2 row lane, and then I can reopen the bottom to make a second lane. FROW could be better to leave 10 in the bag, so that after his bingo I can play two tiles without emptying the bag, something like REV if I dont draw a T for TET 7F. OF n1 seems like it counter bingoes more often in fact, I guess cause of the I. I chose fidge for this reason, letting him bingo on the C column sometimes and then being able to open a lane at 2L if need be next turn after he bingoes. I think FROW might be a better overall way to do this, because if he bingeson the C column it won't make a great lane on the B or D columns, and my bingo options will be worse.
>Karl_Higby: ELNNRRY A9 NER.Y +11 338
>Jackson: AEEOOSS C9 SOA. +5 363
#note this seems to block the most bingoes. weird looking play but with the S and vowels I am not in a big danger of being outrun here, especially cause a 2 tile play like HOE will empty the bag, so I really just want to block bingoes as much as possible.
