>Arie_Sinke: ?AEFPSV 8G FAV +18 18
#note Weird position. FAVS 8F sims very well because it gets responded to with DILUTES A9, which puts a D in the triple at a time when I have a great rack. Not sure how well it works against a human opponent who is not guaranteed to play DILUTES, especially with DUELISTS also available.
>Lydia_Keras: DEILSTU J3 DUELIST +70 70
>Arie_Sinke: ?BEENPS 5E PEEBe.NS +94 112
#note Best by far.
>Lydia_Keras: HINW L1 WHIN. +30 100
>Arie_Sinke: AEEEORU 1L .ERE +21 133
#note This is a massive error. AEROBE H1 for 27 is a hugely better play in every way.
>Lydia_Keras: IMR 6D RIM +25 125
>Arie_Sinke: ADENOSU N1 .ONDEAUS +72 205
#note I make up a word here. I was close to certain that RONDEAU was only pluralized with an X. But not quite 100% I guess.
>Lydia_Keras: COY 8L CO.Y +36 161
>Arie_Sinke: EELOQTU C3 QUOTE +36 241
#note This takes a hit in the sim because it sets up QUOTED, QUOTER, etc., and CLOQUE and COQUET at L8 look better despite scoring less.
>Lydia_Keras: AENORRT L8 .LONG +16 177
>Lydia_Keras: AENORRT -- -16 161
>Arie_Sinke: AAEJLOT L8 .AJOLE +30 271
#note This is fine. I don't love what it does to the board with a lead but it's massively better for equity than anything else.
>Lydia_Keras: GGLOR 13H LOGG.R +18 179
>Arie_Sinke: ANPTVXZ M6 AX.N +42 313
#note This is probably fine. I have an intersting but probably worse alternative available - VAX G13 for 33, forming VLOGGER and throwing the X out into the open. It gives up 9 points and throws open an easy to use scoring spot, but gets rid of the V, which apparently makes it almost worth it.
>Lydia_Keras: AEEIISW 10D FOrTANS +72 251
>Lydia_Keras: AEEIISW -- -72 179
>Arie_Sinke: BDEPTVZ 8A ZED +55 368
#note This is fine. It was probably wrong to set up the QUOTE hooks but it ended up helping me in the long run. Note that trying to block is futile here.
>Lydia_Keras: ?AFNOST H12 F.AN +33 212
>Arie_Sinke: ABCGPTV 11K V.CAB +24 392
#note This is fine. It cleans up the rack better than anything else while scoring as well as possible.
>Lydia_Keras: ?OORSTT 10D TOOTeRS +71 283
>Arie_Sinke: AEGIPTT D2 GIP +31 423
#note This is fine. It maximizes equity.
>Lydia_Keras: EIKL 11C LIKE +32 315
>Arie_Sinke: ADERRTT B10 DATER +29 452
#note This play isn't so hot. D8 ATTIRED plays the same five tiles for four extra points and is obviously better.
>Lydia_Keras: EHO A13 HOE +25 340
#note Not entirely sure how all the late game moves played out on her end but I think this sequence is correct.
>Arie_Sinke: IMRTUWY 12N MY +26 478
#note Endgames with a lot of heavy consonants are hard. My best option appears to be a tough fine - WRIT 9E for 30. The leave of MUY doesn't go out but apparently it scores enough to be worth it. Nothing else goes out in two either.
>Lydia_Keras: AAIIIN 12J AI. +13 353
>Arie_Sinke: IRTUW 7E TIU +20 498
>Arie_Sinke: IRTUW -- -20 478
#note Ran out of time, unfortunately. TUI isn't even right, let alone TIU.
>Lydia_Keras: AIIN C11 .IN +20 373
>Arie_Sinke: IRTUW 7E TUI +20 498
#note WRIT 9E is still available.
