>Arie_Sinke: AAEEIUY 8H AIYEE +18 18
#note This is fine.
>Ryan_Chepita: OU J8 .OU +8 8
>Arie_Sinke: AAENNRU 11G ANURA +17 35
#note This is fine, better than RUANA or ANURAN. Even with a lot of vowels gone the N appears to make the E leave better.
>Ryan_Chepita: EILOT H10 E.TOIL +21 29
>Arie_Sinke: CEEHNPR K5 CHE.P +28 63
#note Unfortunate miss of ENCIPHER 14E 75 here. I think I had forgotten the word.
>Ryan_Chepita: ADEELNT 14C DATEL.NE +63 92
>Arie_Sinke: EGKNOOR 15A KRONE +38 101
#note A few other options are better. OROGEN 15A scores one more point than KRONE and keeps the lone K instead of KRONE's GO leave, which makes it substantially better, as the GO leave is very bad. GOOK 13A is a point sacrifice that looks like it may be potentially a smidgeon better than my play but is way too aggressive for me.
>Ryan_Chepita: LOVV H4 VOLV. +15 107
>Arie_Sinke: ?GHIJNO 5D JING. +26 127
#note This looks right; all the other options (GOJI 12 K for 27 opening up a big S hook, OOHING 13H for 30 keeping the J) have some real liability and are worse for fairly clear reasons.
>Ryan_Chepita: ?ALMORU E7 fORMULA.. +70 177
>Arie_Sinke: ?AGHOST D3 HA. +26 153
#note This play is not that great. A bunch of other options create possibilities whereas this leaves the board tight and leaves me with relatively low odds of bingoing next time. AGA 13C for 20 opens up a new line for sevens ending with S, and GOTH 12K for 19 creates a hugely volatile hook. SHOG 12J for 29 does very well in the sim, better than anything else. Probably because it gets a lot of points and at least creates a hook, even though I won't have an S anymore.
>Ryan_Chepita: IMSX 8A SIXM. +51 228
>Arie_Sinke: ?GOSTUW 13H .UTGlOWS +79 232
#note This is fine.
>Ryan_Chepita: BIORT O8 ORBIT. +27 255
>Arie_Sinke: DDEEIOS 15J DIODES +31 263
#note Right idea, wrong execution. DIDOES gets three more points. I eschewed a bunch of weak looking fishy plays to play this; they all sim better than this but worse than DIDOES.
>Ryan_Chepita: ADFR 13B FAR.D +32 287
>Arie_Sinke: AEEIPQY 12A QI +26 289
#note This play may or may not be good. It's probably not very good. It's possibly counterintuitively better to take YEP C2 for 30 first. I have two places for QI (this and 6C for 25) so I'm not worried about the Q causing too many problems for me, and by playing YEP first I give myself a chance of playing the Q for a lot more points next turn (I get 34 for QAT or QIS if I get a T or an S) and take out one of the easiest scoring spots on the board (YEP can only be reoverlapped for a good score if he has an F for FEH).
>Ryan_Chepita: EIINNTW A1 INTWINE. +95 382
>Arie_Sinke: ABCEEPY C2 BEY +31 320
#note CHEAP 3C is almost certainly better. Just slapped something down after watching the game slip out of my grasp in a single turn.
>Ryan_Chepita: AEFGRST N6 FAG +18 400
>Arie_Sinke: ACEPZ 10E .AZ. +28 348
#note I did not see ZEP M5 for 29 which is a clearly better play. MEZE is also technically better because MAZE sets up an opportunity for Ryan to slow play me with MES/SMAZE, which MEZE doesn't do
