#player2 Evan_Chester Evan Chester
>Nancy_Bowen: ABHIT 8D HABIT +28 28
>Evan_Chester: AEEMRRY D7 R.YMER +28 28
#note Highest scoreing play. Hard to tell what exactly is best here. 9C AERY? 9B EMERY? idk
>Nancy_Bowen: MNOOR C9 MORON +38 66
>Evan_Chester: ?AEEOVX E10 AXE +48 76
#note Best
>Nancy_Bowen: ILN 13E LIN +15 81
>Evan_Chester: ?CEGNOV H4 COVE.iNG +66 142
#note H12 COVE is worth it for 40 saving GN?. H4 COVETiNG > G3 COVEtING/COVErING due to taking out H12 plays, the 1 point sac is made up for with defense
>Nancy_Bowen: IIIIIII -IIIIIII +0 81
>Evan_Chester: AOPTTTY 5G P.TTY +20 162
#note I mostly contemplated POTATO vs POTTY, but better options like B12 PATY and 4H CATTY exist. Also 14F TOTTY/TATTY but I did not know those
>Nancy_Bowen: BGO H13 GOB +23 104
>Evan_Chester: ADNOPST G7 D.P +22 184
#note Did not know 15D STOPBAND. I prefer this over B12 POD to control variance. If Nancy has an S, a play hooking SPORE could swing this game.
>Nancy_Bowen: III -III +0 104
>Evan_Chester: ALNOSTW 11H .OWN +16 200
#note Not good. The highest score on offer is F5 SWOB hooking SPOTTY, which I missed. A lot of other plays that score similar or slightly more exist and I don't know how to mull through those options to find the best one, it probably isnt GOWN tho
>Nancy_Bowen: EO 4K OE +9 113
>Evan_Chester: AADLOST 3I DOTAL +24 224
#note After an exchange 3, followed by OE, a bingo is imminent, so I definitely prefer to score as high as I can and block a bit instead of making a pure equity play
>Nancy_Bowen: EIKRRSS L9 RISKERS +83 196
>Evan_Chester: ADILNSU 2D SUNDIAL +69 293
#note Only bigno.
>Nancy_Bowen: Q H1 Q. +33 229
>Evan_Chester: AEEJLRV 1A AJEE +39 332
#note Best. 14J JAR has higher equity but hiking up the score makes me much more likely to win
>Nancy_Bowen: AEW M12 AWE +30 259
>Evan_Chester: AEFHLRV 14J FA..R +32 364
#note I balked on FRISKERS. I should not have. Each other candidate play has defensive liabilities but I figured Nancy would be more likely to capitalize on AFORE than FARERS after AWE
>Nancy_Bowen: IIUU -IIUU +0 259
>Evan_Chester: EGHILNV N9 VILE +16 380
#note Not on equity chart but wins a sim. 3 cheers for defense
>Nancy_Bowen: DETTU B1 .UTTED +36 295
>Evan_Chester: CFGHIIN A5 FINCH +47 427
#note Best
>Nancy_Bowen: ?AEIISZ 6J ASsIZE +47 342
#note The best endgame sequence is 15K ISSEI saving J5 TZAr. ASsIZE is -6
>Evan_Chester: AEGIOUU 4B .OGAE +12 439
#note -2 to C3 EAU
>Nancy_Bowen: I J13 I. +5 347
#note I think my lesson from this game is an affirmation more than a criticism, and that is that straying from equity can absolutely benefit your win %. COVETiNG, DIP, DOTAL, AJEE, and VILE are all equity sacrafices but they all led to Nancy scoring less on her turns than she otherwise could have, and were plays that helped me maintain control of this game the whole way through. Reading Matthew O'Connor's book gave me an appreciation for these sort of plays, and I intend on consciously making these sort of adjustments to my game
>Nancy_Bowen: (IUU) +6 353
