>Jackson: AABDDRT G6 DAB +17 17
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: CEEHOTU F7 TOUCHE +28 54
#note ECO is 25 and keeps things very tight, but with a potential range deficit. TOUCHE sims slightly ahead
>Jackson: AADHMRT 13C THARM +38 55
#note did not consider DHARMA but this sseems better for defense
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEEIMTY 12D EY. +27 81
>Jackson: AADIOQR 11E R.O +24 79
#note sims about 17 better than 14B QI. This is a pretty good position to show scoring defense and the value not being the one to make new spots on a board bereft of scoring.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEILMTT I10 ALIT +10 91
>Jackson: AAADIOQ -AAADIOQ +0 79
#note seems fine, OIDIA is the only thing worth playing, which does hit AT with a T draw, but that gets blocked often enough and then the Q remains a big burden. Exchanging 7 sims best
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: EGMPSTZ 12H Z.G +23 114
>Jackson: ?EKLNOR J8 LEK +37 116
#note or PLONKER for 72, this seems a bit better.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: EEMPSST K11 PST +24 138
#note Q prefers a few shorter plays, including (G)EM and TOUCHERS. This is about 5 down in a sim. I like the more aggressive option of GEM. Maybe he had some sort of read on a strong rack given LEK took a minute.
>Jackson: ?INOORR K3 mORRION +66 182
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: CEEGIMS L2 GEM +21 159
>Jackson: EEINOTT J4 TOE +16 198
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ACDEIIS M2 IDEA +25 184
>Jackson: EEINNRT N5 INTERNE +63 261
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AACDILS O5 LAID +31 215
>Jackson: ABDNNSU E3 BUNDS +23 284
#note seems like a good board to go whole hog on. UNBANS O10 is 37 and can obviously run away, but 15 row bingoes will catch him up immediately since they score well. I think I can hang on on this totally dead board. UNBANS E2 was another consideration, it gives back slightly better marginal lanes but no -AX bomb.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ACIOSUX D1 COAX +54 269
>Jackson: ?AEFINO 1A FIN.A +30 314
#note unfortunately nothing that plays eastward from the C.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AFGIOSU O11 FUGIO +35 304
>Jackson: ?EEEJOU 6B JEE. +28 342
#note at first 14a JEE was tempting cause I have the case O, but this is by far the call, taking out anything on the A and B column, saving the blank.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEIINQS 3A NIQ.. +32 336
#note hard to imagine anything other than this or 14a QI. QI is tough becuase if I have an E, I can hit a 6 letter word at 15C almost always, and he will get outscored in the endgame and can't bingo. the only bingo he can hit on the right side is with R? for EARINgS at M9. Maybe that is the gamble he has to take at this point, but NIQAB could win with certain good blank draws for sure.
>Jackson: ?EOPUVW M10 ErUV +19 361
#note NIQAB almost worked even without the blank draw - he threatens AIRLESS. He has a lot of good potential out in twos with TOUCHERS if I don't save an out, so I at least have to threaten something. This saves POW 7A, which he can block, but anything from the J will not work (except the horrid JESS) since it would give back PLOW or PROW, so his options are much weaker. This is one of three wins, along with 13M PU(G) and PUr(I) 14L. PURI saves WOVE and VOW 7A if he blocks.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEILRSS C6 .ASEL +7 343
#note EARLS is technically 4 better because next turn I could block SIR with OW/MO for a better net, but I didnt do that
>Jackson: OPW N13 OP +23 384
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: IRS 14F SIR +24 367
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: (W) +8 375
