#player2 Beth_Mix Beth Mix
>Evan_Chester: ABFIRTV -BFV +0 0
#note Didn't know BRAVI or BARFI. Def better than exchanging. Maybe play short with FAV? probably
>Beth_Mix: AEOOSTU -OOU +0 0
>Evan_Chester: AIINRTW -IW +0 0
#note Did not know WITAN. Exchanging here is probably fine
>Beth_Mix: AELSTVX 8G VAX +26 26
>Evan_Chester: AGINPRT 7H PARTING +76 76
#note Only bingo
>Beth_Mix: EJLLSTU K5 JU. +20 46
>Evan_Chester: ADEEITW M6 A.TIWEED +76 152
#note Only bingo
>Beth_Mix: ELLRSST - +0 46
#note Remember how I mentioned that after Harry challenged ANTIPOT in game 3, I mentioned on the way back that it meant the same as ANTIWEED (which isn't true I'm just dumb)? Beth overheard this comment but didn't fully comprehend what was said and in her mind, overhearing this comment convinced her that this wasn't a word and she challenged! Beth told me later that the comment about ANTIWEED a few days ago was the only reason she challenged. Pretty insane bout of fortune to come my way
>Evan_Chester: AAGNNOY 8M .OY +21 173
#note This play was meant to take out PARTINGS with a 100 point lead. This play leaves too many points on the table though. L10 ANYON is best but I didn't know it. L10 ANNOY should have been the play
>Beth_Mix: ELLRSST H7 ..LL +6 52
>Evan_Chester: AAGNOQV 12J GAN.V +18 191
#note All options are mediocre and keep the Q. Playing off 4 tiles and blocking some floaters seems fine
>Beth_Mix: AERSSTZ 11K ZE. +48 100
#note O10 ERSATZ is sick
>Evan_Chester: AEHOQRT 9L Q. +11 202
#note Best equity move
>Beth_Mix: ADRSSTU 9L ..S +16 116
>Evan_Chester: AEHMORT I10 OM +6 208
#note Hyper defensive, definite mistake. Waaaaay too many points left on the table here. I did not see 10M WHO for 33. L3 MHO should have absolutely came down instead of this, especially if I knew SPALL was a word.
>Beth_Mix: ADRSTU N12 .AU +15 131
>Evan_Chester: AEHRTTT O14 TA +8 216
#note Again the hyper defensive move. Again leaving too many points on the table. 10M WHA is still available and 6I TAU blocks SPALL and scores 11 more
>Beth_Mix: DERSTUY J12 .UY +15 146
>Evan_Chester: CEEHRTT 14E CHEER. +22 238
#note Sims better than all short equity plays due to how a great leave doesnt accomplish much on this S dependent closed board. The right play here is CHERTY but I didn't know it.
>Beth_Mix: DEPRST H12 PE.D +30 176
>Evan_Chester: KLNNSTT -LNNT +0 238
#note I kept the K to potentially score well through the C. I didn't know SPALL so I thought scoring meant a bit more than bingo %
>Beth_Mix: ?DHIRST 6B DITHeRS +71 247
#note Only bingo
>Evan_Chester: EFIKRST E11 FRI.K +28 266
#note I only learned this wasn't a word during yesterday's Mondaily. There are 2 standout options this turn that I missed. 5C KIEF and E5 SHIFTER
>Beth_Mix: BEGOORT 15A EBOO. +36 283
>Evan_Chester: ACELNST C3 CAN.STEL +74 340
#note Only bingo. Held and released
>Beth_Mix: FGIIMRT 8A FI. +18 301
>Evan_Chester: ADENORW D4 WO. +24 364
#note Blocks both the C and A, which are the last bingo lines on the board. Closing things up now is a good plan
>Beth_Mix: GIMRT E5 G.I +22 323
>Evan_Chester: ADEENNR 14A DAN +21 385
#note Highest scoring play, which I think I'm right to take here
>Beth_Mix: IMORT D9 MOI +16 339
>Evan_Chester: EEENORS 13B NO +15 400
#note 2nd highest score behind O4 EENSY, but even if I saw that, I'm not opening a T hook with T ? unseen
>Beth_Mix: BRTU G4 BU. +5 344
>Evan_Chester: EEEEORS O10 OES +15 415
#note 5K JO is allegedly the best valued 100% win. OES also wins 100% but is a 23.5 point mistake I guess
>Beth_Mix: AIILNRT H1 INTI +20 364
#note Best endgame is A8 FINAL saving N4 TRIGOS!
>Evan_Chester: ?EEER 1E EEr.ER +5 420
#note There are 4 12 point outs from the T. Lesson of this game is to not sacrafice massive equity for defense during the early/mid game. Plays like TOY, OM, and TA left so many points on the table for the sake of defense that ended up undone by the SPALL hook. Clamping down the board later is totally sound strategy but not that early
>Evan_Chester: (ALR) +6 426
