>Michael_Wolfberg: ?DEOTUW 8D WiDEOUT +78 78
>Evan_Chester: BEOSSVX K4 VOXES +41 41
#note Lucky af that this wasn't challenged. BOXES in the same spot is correct
>Michael_Wolfberg: ACEHK F3 HACKE. +26 104
>Evan_Chester: AABGIPS 7C GAP. +17 58
#note Not the worst idea to give myself a new line at a deficit. Didn't want to keep 2 of BGP, and didn't want to block SHACKED which I wasn't 100% sure of but would have pulled the trigger on. Fine play
>Michael_Wolfberg: AO J6 OA. +18 122
>Evan_Chester: ?ABEFIS I4 FIB +20 78
#note 3C FISHABlE, B4 BIFAcES, B6 BAfFIES. Didn't know these words. This play is alright
>Michael_Wolfberg: ABINORT B6 TABORIN +71 193
#note Plays at 2F hooking THACKED. This is the HACKED hook I didn't know
>Evan_Chester: ?AEGILS A9 GELAtIS +84 162
#note 2B LIGASEs/GLAsSIE are 3 more but I didn't know those words and keep the variance of HACKED hooks could be arguably better positionally while still down
>Michael_Wolfberg: MY L5 MY +27 220
>Evan_Chester: AJMOORR H1 MOJO +48 210
#note Best
>Michael_Wolfberg: DE 9G DE +12 232
>Evan_Chester: AILRRUW 2D RAW +42 252
#note Best
>Michael_Wolfberg: DEOTT 1A TOTED +27 259
>Evan_Chester: EILNRUU 3A LUNE +11 263
#note Bad play. Best simming options are A4 ULU and 12A ANNULI, which score 6 and 12 respectively. Yucky tiles
>Michael_Wolfberg: I 6F .I +6 265
>Evan_Chester: EIIRRUU -IIRUU +0 263
#note Best exchange, but I did miss 5C URIC. I think Michael's previous play made me want to completely refresh my rack since I know he is very close to bingoing
>Michael_Wolfberg: I A3 .I +3 268
#note He picked up an I after just playing off an I
>Evan_Chester: AEHILRZ 15A .HIRAZ +19 282
#note Extremely flawed play. The idea behind this play is that it blocks the 14 and 15 rows when Michael is obviously about to bingo. It scores so poorly though and I never realized the possibility of pluralizing the word and hitting the triple. There is a standout play I missed of 5C ZILCH for 43. I never looked there since I was too hung up on the idea of playing defense
>Michael_Wolfberg: ES 15A ......ES +60 328
>Evan_Chester: CEILNPY E11 PLIC. +18 300
#note Also bad. I don't remember why I played this. Best is C9 YEP
>Michael_Wolfberg: IN C12 IN +7 335
>Evan_Chester: EENTUVY C9 YE +23 323
#note Highest scoring option, tied with the insane triply disconnected 13A tENUITY! Plays like 12E LEVY and 14H ENVY do better at playing defense and plays off 2 of UVY. My play is fine.
>Michael_Wolfberg: RU 11E .UR +5 340
>Evan_Chester: EEFNTUV H11 EFT +16 339
#note Decent blocking play. On a purely results based analysis, my play worked since Michael had ORANGES/ONAGERS ready to come down at 14H. G11 REVUE and H11 EVENS are similar blocks that also split up UV
>Michael_Wolfberg: AEGNORS I10 ORA +15 355
#note Lucky he missed 2H OREGANOS
>Evan_Chester: ELNNRUV F10 N. +4 343
#note The idea of this play is to block F10 QUA, which he is likely to have after drawing 3. I also preserve a chance of leaving the Q in the bag if he didn't pull it. Realistically this won't work as a Q stick though. Michael almost definitely has QATS or QIS on his rack at this point. I can very easily infer he has the S at this point and the bag would need to be exactly IT for him to not have a Q play hooking OMS. Without the A, I can't make a play that blocks the M column so I'm pretty screwed here, but I end up getting a break that could have lead to me stealing the game
>Michael_Wolfberg: AEGNQST 3F .A. +14 369
#note Michael missed QATS, making it a 50/50 whether or not he'll be Q stuck based on what I draw
>Evan_Chester: DELNRUV J12 VULN +18 361
#note 1 point worse than a multi turn sequence of J12 REV -> K10 LUD -> D6 NAW, with Michael's optimal 2nd turn being 4E GANOF. Seeing this is much harder than the simple out in 2
>Michael_Wolfberg: EGINQST M3 QIS +29 398
>Evan_Chester: DER 15J .ERD +6 367
#note Lesson of this game is to not overreact to fishy plays from my opponent. SHIRAZ was me doing that and it was an awful play. Playing PLICA instead of YEP is also really bad. I got a many breaks this game and could have maybe squeaked it out in the end, but with these mistakes, it feels right that I ended up losing.
