#note Best, sacraficing 1 point is worth it to not open the triples for her
>Susan_Saidenberg: GGY K8 .GGY +18 42
>Evan_Chester: EGIIORS J2 GI +11 116
#note Not a great play. The standout play is 5E GROuPIE but seeing that through 2 tiles, one being a blank, is really hard. A play like 3I PIROGI is a lot more seeable
>Susan_Saidenberg: ?ADEJNU 9A JAUNtED +77 119
#note 9A UNJAdED is 84! Still an impressive find
>Evan_Chester: AEIORSY A7 YA.E +42 158
#note Maybe 10A OY to keep better and not give back a huge X spot. YAJE is fine though
>Susan_Saidenberg: CENT 10F CENT +27 146

#note Valiant try but with this board state and score I'm essentially forced to challenge
>Evan_Chester: BDEINOU N12 NEB +22 394
#note No home for BEDOUIN. My main goal at this point was defense and NEB is good for that. Stylistic play more than a mistake I think
>Susan_Saidenberg: AEFIORV O7 IF +32 375
>Evan_Chester: DIMNOOU D11 .NO +14 408
#note I saw the top play of L11 ODIUM next turn, but I needed to have played it this turn. ONO, while it does block the B, is just so much worse
>Susan_Saidenberg: AEORV L11 OVA +17 392
>Evan_Chester: DDIMOTU 14B M. +16 424
#note Not a great play in terms of win percent. Couldn't come up with any good options in real time. F3 DITZ sims best
>Susan_Saidenberg: EELNORW 15A ....WORN +51 443
>Susan_Saidenberg: EELNORW -- -51 392
#note I was stuck on this position for at least 6 minutes. Initially I thought I could let this go and still win because I mistracked and had her with EEI. If she was leaving EEI, an out in 2 sequence of 14F DOUT and F3 DITZ would have narrowly won. I thankfully decided to retrack and once I realized she had EEL, my plan wouldn't work, as DOUT would give back 13H LEE, and she has plenty of outs if the bottom is untouched. Once I figured that out I challenged, which let me win handily. Considering Susan doesn't have any legal plays that win, I absolutely respect the creativity of this play, and if I was low on time and wasn't able to retrack, it might have worked.
>Evan_Chester: DDIOTTU F3 DIT. +14 438
#note Best
>Susan_Saidenberg: EELNORW 3C LEW. +16 408
#note Best endgame is 14I REEL, which allows for 2 15 point outs of 13H NOW and 7C OWN.
>Evan_Chester: DOTU 4B TOD +16 454
#note Best
>Susan_Saidenberg: ENOR I10 .ONER +6 414
#note Best out is the crazy F8 RECKONER! 13C BOONER is also available for 9. Lesson for this game is to try and polish up pre endgame moves. 11/15 plays were either best or second best, but my pre endgame was not great. While NEB wasn't a direct mistake, ONO and MU were, and better play on those turns would have lead to a win I had to sweat less over.
