#note Skipping over game 3 because I can't decipher how I messed up the score card, just know it's almost certainly my worst played game of the tournament, even independent of the fact that I blew a winning position for the only time this tournament.
>Evan_Chester: AADDEIR 9F AD +15 15
#note 7E AID for 16 slightly better, this is 2nd
>Harry_Chan: AANO 10G ANOA +10 22
>Evan_Chester: ADDEIIR 11H AIDED +21 36
#note Best. Don't want to be in a cycle of fishing
>Harry_Chan: EMOR 12J OMER +26 48
>Evan_Chester: BHIIJNR 12F JIN +15 51
#note Not playing JIB here is really dumb
>Harry_Chan: EU F12 .EU +12 60
#note I thought this was an x setup but the X was in the bag almost the entire game
>Evan_Chester: BBHIIRU E9 BIB +20 71
#note Equal with E9 BUB but worse than E9 HUB
>Harry_Chan: ILM I6 MIL +13 73
>Evan_Chester: FHHINRU H4 HUH +20 91
#note Best
>Harry_Chan: ENPR 13C PRE.N +19 92
>Evan_Chester: EFINRTV 14F .NRIVET +21 112
#note 4G THRIVEN is best. This was almost challenged tho.
>Harry_Chan: EKOST 15K TOKES +35 127
>Evan_Chester: AEEFGNW 15H EF +26 138
#note 2nd best behind 4G WHANGEE which I saw but didn't play. I forget why.
>Harry_Chan: EGG 13M EGG +14 141
>Evan_Chester: ?AAEGNW D12 G.EW +24 162
#note O7 WAGoNAGES!!! insane play. My play is 2nd to that
>Harry_Chan: CEL 15A CLE. +27 168
>Evan_Chester: ?AAINPW C11 WA. +11 173
#note O6 PArAWING is a bingo I did not know. However, I should have absolutely seen O8 PAWING.
>Harry_Chan: Q 10D Q. +11 179
>Evan_Chester: ?AAIINP 14N AI +16 189
#note 4F APHIdIAN is another bingo I do not know. My play is 2nd
>Harry_Chan: DENORSU B6 SOUNDER +73 252
>Evan_Chester: ?AINPTT A1 ANTIPoT +80 269
#note A1 TrIPTAN scores 7 more. I only knew TRIPTANE. Maybe I should instictively search up these chemicals without an E when I first learn them. ANTIPoT is still one of two bingos though and I'm glad I found it
>Harry_Chan: AACILRS - +0 252
#note not real rack. Harry challenged ANTIPoT. On my way back to the board I mentioned that it had the same meaning as ANTIWEED (It doesn't but I thought it did.) I would have never expected this statement would impact another game a few days later
>Evan_Chester: AESSTYZ G3 ZA +26 295
#note Quackle's preferred play is 4H HASTY, which sets up my Z to play at 3I, but not holding a followup play makes me think it's not the best idea, and it allows Harry to open the right side of the board easier. I'm fine with ZA in the more defensive spot
>Harry_Chan: COR F4 ROC +17 269
>Evan_Chester: ELSSTYY B1 YE +19 314
#note Blocking the A should seal this game more often than not
>Harry_Chan: AV O11 VA... +10 279
#note I didn't think to hold this but it really did not matter. Noted for the future
>Evan_Chester: ILLSSTY C1 STYLI +25 339
#note This play is actually 0% to win due to the inhuman bingo of pROTOXIDE available for Harry! I would have never expected that and realistically only ~5-10 people in the entire world would find and make that play. This play also has the downside that Harry can L stick me with a play like D4 IT. I actually did find this sequence after I hit my clock, but Harry can't make up enough points to win. Champ player has this as the best play that doesn't block pROTOXIDE so I assume this is the best sequence against non Nigel opponents
>Harry_Chan: ?IOORTX 10L OXO +16 295
#note pROTOXIDE only win, D3 OOT best L stick, with the sequence being OOT -> RIF, Xu, XI
>Evan_Chester: LS 4A .L.S +8 347
#note Best. Played fairly well this game. JIN and BIB should have been JIB and HUB, and I missed some blank bingos I didn't know, but I think I handled most turns well. Lesson of this game is to be aware when your opponent has a 9 letter outbingo with the x and blank.
