>New_Player_1: CEGHIOX H3 CHIGOE +32 32
#note Not only do I love playing this word, but it potentially sets up the X for OX, or even GOX if Ruth sets that up for me.
>Quackle: IV 6F VI. +15 15
#note Well that makes my spot easier.
>New_Player_1: AADEOOX 3H .OAXED +34 66
#note We had been talking about my experience as an electrician in the Navy before the game started. She read this as CO-AX, as in COAXIAL, due to that conversation. Oh also we had been talking about how SEABEES wasn't acceptable even though it's been Navy slang for at least 100 years. Silly mistake, but she did challenge.

I prefer this over AX for 42 given my leave after that play. I did not expect her to challenge, and was thinking that even if she overlaps, I'll be able to overlap again on the triple line.
>Quackle: IIIIII -IIIIII +0 15
#note Challenge
>New_Player_1: AEGOOOY 2J YO +35 101
#note Q prefers YEA slightly. I didn't want to set up a juicy M, H, B, G, W, K or whatever above AE. And I think this leave is slightly better, even though it's still not great.
>Quackle: BENOR 1K BORNE +36 51
#note See? She would have had the B for ... checks math ... 35! But she easily could have had another high point tile here to play a 4 for more.
>New_Player_1: AEGLOOY 4L LOGY +31 132
#note I'm not going to pretend I saw BOXLA. But even if I had, I don't think that's better. It scores less and has a worse leave, and turns over fewer tiles. No real upside, unless Ruth bingoes from the Y, which is almost certainly not happening.
>Quackle: ATU F6 .ATU +7 58
>New_Player_1: ADEELLO O4 .ELLED +30 162
#note My brain somehow always misses YODEL/YODLE. I have played YODELING, as a bingo, but for some reason, the five is a blind spot.
>Quackle: EEW 2M EEW +26 84
>New_Player_1: ADEEOOP G8 APO +18 180
#note Q sims POOED/UP a few points higher than this. I think this is fine, it's more defensive and leaves an okay leave.
>Quackle: ?AABINT N9 ABATINg +81 165
#note Ruth was trying to find something better for a long time. ABsTAIN can be tough to find, which sims right behind TABANId for 2 more points, or hABITAN for one more.
>New_Player_1: DDEENOT E9 DENOTED +74 254
#note I played this here, rather than hooking APOD, cuz I figured it would work out a little better in the long run, especially if she plays something starting with my D. And that is, kind of, what happened.
>Quackle: AKR 15E .ARK +27 192
#note This was not a setup, at the time.
>New_Player_1: FILRSST 12C FL.RISTS +74 328
#note I was relieved that she did not block. RIFTLESS/STIFLERS didn't fit anyway, and there are no other 8s with this rack.
>Quackle: FZ 14D F.Z +66 258
#note Like I said, DARK was not trying to set up anything. She drew the Z.
>New_Player_1: EEMNQUW 11K QUE.N +28 356
#note Q sims MEW at 33.6, QUEEN at 28.6, SUQ at 28.4, and this at 24.6. I played this because it turns over the most tiles with a blank and two (mostly useless) esses left unseen, and it's more balanced than QUEEN. I can see an argument for MEW, but I think this is fine.
>Quackle: AIIT 15K ATI.I +15 273
#note Nice I dump here by Ruth
>New_Player_1: EGIMOVW M7 VOW +28 384
#note See, it was my plan all along to draw the V and still have a good spot for it.
>Quackle: CR L10 C.R +10 283
#note Without knowing her full rack, I doubt this is best. Even just fishing the R at 10D seems worthwhile, since there are no currently lanes for a 7.
>New_Player_1: AEGHIMP 14J PHI +21 405
#note I was very curious what Quackle thought about this position. It says AH for 26 at I6 is best, followed by HEIGH, PIMA/AVOW, and then my play. I don't like HEIGH because it makes it easier for Ruth to potentially set up a bingo lane. AH seems okay, but I prefer to unload another tile with this rack. I'm not going to have an issue scoring in the endgame, especially since I have all the remaining tiles worth more than 1 point, save the J. PHI also keeps the A, which is useful for both VIGA and AVOW, the latter of which I would use on my next turn.
>Quackle: NR 13M R.N +6 289
>New_Player_1: AEEGIMN 6L MAI. +18 423
#note Given that I have the last two Es, I like this setup. Q wants to play MAE or EME (???) at 13A, which seems atrocious. Given that Ruth has been fishing, I have no desire to open anything she can use.
>Quackle: ?AIMRSS C7 MAStI.S +30 319
>Quackle: ?AIMRSS -- -30 289
#note Ruth had MARISHeS and SMARtISH here. She might not have know MARISHeS, but I'm lucky she didn't spot SMARtISh, especially since I just drew the J. Well actually if I have the J, I am guaranteed to have either JUGS or JUTS. Whatever. Game is done with this phony.
>New_Player_1: EEGJNUU K5 JEU +27 450
#note Lovely draw of JUU. Especially glad I set up the E now.
>Quackle: ?AIMRSS 10B MAR. +12 301
>New_Player_1: EGNTU 13A UTE +16 466
#note I wasn't 100% sure about TEUGH. Obviously better than UTE, but at least that is second.
>Quackle: ?ISS J7 mISS +6 307
#note Ruth went over by a minute. Also I announced FLORISTS as 72, so if anyone sees a report from Richard saying I scored 464, that's why.
>Quackle: (GN) +6 313
