#player2 Edwin_Roth Edwin Roth
>Samuel_Kaplan: BEIORSU 8H OUREBIS +74 74
#note Saw this in 2 seconds. Good start.
>Edwin_Roth: AEIY K5 AIY.E +16 16
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEGIINT N8 .EI +5 79
#note I wanted to keep a nice leave but 7M GIE is better. It was pretty annoying to not be able to play RETIEING/REIGNITE, this good start that I had quickly turned sour.
>Edwin_Roth: ATX J4 TAX +53 69
#note And that partly contributes to early demise.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EGIIINT -II +0 79
#note This turn was pretty agonizing, I was not too happy after drawing 2 Is. Q thinks I should have played thru this with O10 TIEING for 26. This is 4th.
>Edwin_Roth: ACGGN M5 CAG.NG +19 88
>Samuel_Kaplan: EGIJLNT 6M .JI +26 105
#note At least I can score while continuing to fish this time.
>Edwin_Roth: DFU 9F FUD +11 99
>Samuel_Kaplan: EGLNTTW 7E WENT +12 117
#note O9 WELT #visionmedium
>Edwin_Roth: AOVW 6C AVOW +36 135
>Samuel_Kaplan: AABGLPT 5E BAG +34 151
#note Best play!
>Edwin_Roth: ?DIPRST C2 DIsP.RTS +74 209
#note The top part of the board becomes much harder to open up after C6 (A)DScRIPT. Still a nice play.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AILNPTZ 8A ZI. +36 187
#note Not doing B1 ZIP or ZAP when I'm behind. PLAINT was worth considering in the hopes of drawing a big Z play at A8 on a future turn. This play is fine.
>Edwin_Roth: MNOO D1 MONO +25 234
>Samuel_Kaplan: ADELNPT O10 PLATED +36 223
#note Not bad, didn't see PEDANT which is 3 more.
>Edwin_Roth: EELQU 12J QUELE. +30 264
>Samuel_Kaplan: FILNTTV 14J VITTL. +34 257
#note Clunky rack, didn't wanna close off the bottom but this scores the most by far. At this point I don't need to bingo to win. This is best.
>Edwin_Roth: NORU 1D .OURN +21 285
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEEFKNO B1 KAF +34 291
#note This, OAK, and OAF all sim close in the same spot. It's a close enough game that I chose the points over the leave as Ed is pretty random after MOURN. Besides, there are no other good scoring spots for the F or K on this board.
>Edwin_Roth: O 1A O. +18 303
#note I think Ed is close to a bingo now.
>Samuel_Kaplan: CEEHINO 2F HE +28 319
#note This time I needed to keep well. I did not know O1 ECHINI but this is better anyway.
>Edwin_Roth: AM 11K MA +18 321
>Samuel_Kaplan: CEINOOS 3G COO +17 336
#note Ed is obviously close to a bingo after MA so I needed to have a 2nd lane in case I draw an out bingo. If Ed bingoes, he empties the bag. This was my best shot of winning this game.
>Edwin_Roth: ?AEINRR D8 sIERRAN +76 397
#note This is Ed's best play.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEEINSY 14B EE.SY +32 368
#note The first 2 tiles I saw to my EINS leave were EE, and I was hoping to see an R knowing there were 3 left. The Y wiped out any hopes I had of bingoing out and winning this game. This play is best but the way I lost this one was demoralizing.
>Edwin_Roth: DHLRS C13 H.R +22 419
>Samuel_Kaplan: EIN A8 .EIN +13 381
#note Great game Ed!
I just wish I didn't draw II to my EGINT leave on my 3rd play, the game is a lot different if I bingo on that play. I thought I was in command after drawing OUREBIS then RETIEING/REIGNITE but that would prove to be highly untrue.
